The Alta Community Library Board, along with the director and staff, would like to thank everyone who worked to support the bond referendum. While the bond did not pass, we remain committed to finding a permanent home for our library so that we can continue serving our community through our programs and materials. We believe a strong public library is essential for community growth, and we are honored to play a part in its success.

Meets the 1st Tuesday of each month @ 6:00 and the 1st Thursday of the month at 2:00 (same book). Pick up the book the month before to read ahead of time.

Knit Night

Calling all knitters, crocheters, stitchers, quilters, and crafters! Join us for an evening of creative fun and fellowship! Knit Night is held every fourth and fifth Thursday from 5:30-7:00 pm in the library. 

FREE Crochet class 

The fourth Thursday of the month from 5:30-6:30, instructor Steve Smith.

FREE Knit class 

The fifth Thursday of the month from 5:30-6:30, instructor Gigi Nelson.
